ABSTRACT

The purposes of this research are first to prove whether Education, Training, and Promotion
simultaneously have significant influence or not towards the employees’ performance of BCA Company
Balikpapan branch. The second purpose is to show which of these factors (Education, Training and Job
Promotion) have the most dominant influences towards the employees’ performance in BCA Company
Balikpapan branch.
The methods of Analysis that used in this research to prove the two hypotheses are the F test and T
test. In order to prove the first hypothesis, the researcher used the F test by comparing the Fcalc and the
Ftab. The second hypothesis used the T test by comparing Tcalc and Ttab. The error limit that tolerated is
5%.


The first Hypothesis in this research can accepted because all those factors (Education, Training
and Promotion) simultaneously have the significant influence towards the employees’ performance of
BCA Company Balikpapan branch. According to the result of the F test, the Analysis of Variant
(ANOVA) by using the SPSS program 18.0 windows version shows the output that the value of Fcalc is
18,6 bigger than the value of Ftab which is3,070 with the significant difference 0.000 lower than the limit
0.05. The second hypothesis also accepted because partially the Training factor has the most dominant
influence towards the employees’ performance of BCA Company Balikpapan Branch. According to the
result of the T test, the value of Tcalc is 5.157 bigger than the value of T-tab. Wich is 1.656. The value of
significant difference is 0.000 < 0.05. The researcher conclude that those two hypotheses are accepted.
