INFLUENCE OF MOTIVATION COMPETENCE WORK ENVIRONMENT AND WORKLOAD ON NURSE PERFORMANCE AT PERTAMINA HOSPITAL BALIKPAPAN

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation, competence, work environment, and workload on nurse performance. This research is a quantitative research. The population in this research is all nurses at inpatient facility in Pertamina Balikpapan Hospital. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling technique. Using the slovin formula with a population of 118 after using the slovin formula obtained a sample size of 54 respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression method which is assisted by SPSS 25 program. The result shows that partially motivation variable has positive and significant effect on nurses' performance, competence has positive and significant effect on nurses' performance, work environment has positive and significant effect on nurses' performance and workload variable has negative and significant effect on nurses' performance. Then the variables of motivation, competence, work environment and workload simultaneously have a significant effect on nurse performance.
