THE PHENOMENON OF ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR (OCB) AND ITS INFLUENCE ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE (Case Study of Jambi City Government Employees)

The purposes of this research is to investigate the organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) displayed by employees and the factors that impact it. The study sample comprises 75 employees from the Jambi City Government. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire, and the data was analyzed through verification analysis, with regression analysis as the analytical tool. The findings of this study reveal that OCB can be influenced by both internal and external factors. Internal factors include job satisfaction, organizational commitment, employee morale, and work motivation, while external factors encompass leadership style and organizational culture. Among these factors, employee job satisfaction emerges as the most influential factor in determining OCB.
