THE EFFECT OF WORK TRAINING WORK DISCIPLINE AND COMPENSATION ON THE PERFORMANCE OF PT POS INDONESIA BALIKPAPAN BRANCH

This study aims to determine whether job training, work discipline, and compensation have a significant effect on the performance of employees of PT Pos Indonesia Balikpapan Branch. The independent variables of the research are job training, work discipline, and compensation, while the dependent variable is performance. The research data was obtained from the answers to the questionnaires distributed to 50 employees of PT Pos Indonesia Balikpapan Branch. Data analysis which included validity, reliability, multiple linear regression tests, classic assumption tests and hypothesis testing was carried out using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25.0 program. The results of the study show that job training has no significant effect on performance because the tcount of job training is 1.427 <2.013 (ttable). Work discipline has a significant effect on performance, this is indicated by the tcount of work discipline of 3.161 > 2.013 (ttable). Meanwhile, compensation has no significant effect on performance, because tcount compensation is 1.482 <2.013 (ttable). Taken together the three independent variables have a significant effect on performance as indicated by the Fcount of 12.529 > 2.81 (Ftable).
