THE EFFECT OF WORK MOTIVATION, COMPENSATION, AND WORK ENVIRONMENT ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT HOTEL PLATINUM BALIKPAPAN

This study aims to determine and test whether work motivation, compensation and work environment simultaneously affect employee performance, and to find out and test which partially between work motivation, compensation and work environment has a dominant influence on employee performance at the Platinum Platinum Hotel. This method uses a qualitative approach, with a population of 119 employees and all populations sampled. While the data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, classic assumptions, f test and t test. To test and prove the hypothesis of this study using SPSS analysis tools version 24 windows. The sampling method used in this study is the saturated sample method. The saturated sample method is a sampling technique when all members of the population are used as samples. Another term for saturated samples is census. This sampling process uses primary data obtained from observations and questionnaires distributed to respondents.
Based on simultaneous test results Work motivation, Compensation and Work Environment have a significant positive effect on employee performance at the Platinum Platinum Hotel and work motivation (X1) is the variable that has the most significant (dominant) effect on employee performance variables at the Platinum Platinum Hotel.
