THE EFFECT OF PROFITABILITY, COMPANY SIZE AND MARKET RATIO ON STOCK RETURNS OF PROPERTY AND REALESTATE SUB-SECTORS LISTED ON THE INDONESIAN STOCK EXCHANGE

This study was conducted to analyze and determine the effect of return on assets (X1), firm size (X2) and earning per share (X3) partially and simultaneously on stock returns (Y) of property and real estate sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2017 – 2022 period. The research data is sourced from the IDX official website and thecompany listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017 – 2022 period. Samplingthe data using purposive sampling technique and the sample is 6 property and real estate companies. Data analysis on purposive sampling technique using IBM SPSSStatistics 25 for windows software. The results of the study indicate that return on assetspartially has a positive and significant effect on stock returns, the results of firm sizepartially have no positive and insignificant effect on stock returns and the results ofearning per share partially have no positive and insignificant effect on stock returns.Simultaneously return on assets, firm size and earning per share have a significant effecton stock returns.
