This study aims to investigate the evolution of Islamic economic thought as promoted by Muhammad Abdul Mannan from a historical perspective. By focusing on the development of theories and concepts introduced by Mannan, this study analyses how his ideas have changed and evolved over time. Furthermore, it explores the impact of this evolution on Islamic economic theory as a whole. The methodology employed includes an in-depth literature review and critical analysis of Mannan's works to provide a comprehensive understanding of his contributions and the changes within the framework of Islamic economic thought. The results are expected to offer new insights into the dynamics of Islamic economic thought and contribute to the academic discourse in this field.
