Abstract


The purpose of this study is, to analyze whether the variables of leadership, compensation, and competence together have an influence on the performance of employees of PT. Pelita Motor Jaya Balikpapan. The model of analysis used in this study is in the form of Multiple Regression Linear (Multiple Regression Linear), and the formula of the model of Multiple Linear Regression is as follows: Y = bo + b1 X1 + b2 X2 + b3 X3 + ei. To prove the truth of the first hypothesis used F test that is comparing F count with F table, and to prove the second hypothesis used t test that is comparing t arithmetic and t table, at 5% real level (tolerable error rate).
The results of testing the first hypothesis proves that leadership, compensation, and competence have a significant influence on the performance of employees of PT. Pelita Motor Jaya Balikpapan, proved by the value of F arithmetic greater than the value of F table (23,777> 2,469) with sig value. 0,000 <0.05. And result of testing of second hypothesis (H2) proves that compensation has significant and dominant influence to employee performance of PT. Pelita Motor Jaya Balikpapan, as evidenced by the value of t arithmetic greater than the value of t table (5,019> 1,985) with sig value. 0,000 <
